This project which revolves around CLIL and Inclusive Education, includes these two Primary schools from Devon, the MAT, the Spanish school, Scuola Padre Pio from Altamura, Italy and Rigas Classical Gymnasium from Latvia as well as Antonio de Nebrija University from Madrid.

It is worth highlighting this project will place emphasis on CELT (“Content Enhanced Language Teaching”) for English language teaching both as a mother tongue or foreign language, depending on the country, development of pupils´ sociocultural competence, Inclusive Education and Multiple Intelligences. It will involve both transnational project meetings in the different countries to ensure face-to-face communication between the teachers and/or lecturers involved and visits with children to each school´s country.

Teaching/Learning activity in Lorca

Throughout the week starting 6th February, Andrés García Soler has hosted students and staff from Nebrija University from Madrid, Ofwell Primary school from Honiton (UK), Redhills Primary school from Exeter (UK), Scuola Padre Pio from Altamura (Italy), Riga Classical Gymnasium from Riga (Latvia). They have taken part in a wide range of activities at school eg workshops about Tudor times, robotics, our school garden, etc. and they have taken part in some cultural trips like Granada, Águilas or Murcia. It is worth pointing out that staff from Nebrija University have also carried out some research on children´s sociocultural competence.
